Ninety-six sworn depositions. No two agree.
That is the real historical problem of the Boston Massacre, and it is nearly impossible to teach from a textbook paragraph that says five people died and moves on. So your students stand in it: one night, one fourteen-year-old apprentice, and testimony they have to earn the right to swear to. Free for your classroom, permanently.

They test the sight lines in 3D — rebuild King Street, place the nine indicted soldiers where the trial record puts them, then stand where three real witnesses stood. One had a clear line to all nine. Another had four of them behind the crowd. That is why credible people contradicted each other.
Every source is real and quoted — never a summary of a document. The record fixes where five of the nine soldiers stood and is silent about the other four, and the activity says so. No portrait of any of them survives, so none was invented.
